About this listen

All I want is one night.

One night away from the falling down brownstone filled with my three best friends, a broody billionaire, and our seven children. Oh, and you can’t forget those adorable raccoons.

But the universe apparently has other ideas because I get drunk and sleep with the baseball player.
Now two little lines turn my escape into a completely new adventure. But we’re just going to co-parent not get into anything serious.

No matter how many times I tell Cortney Miller, who is now sharing my bed and watching my every move, that we’re not meant to be, he won’t let go.

Is it possible he could be more than just the mother maker?

Authors Note: Mother Maker is book two of the Momcoms Series and features an accidental pregnancy romance between a professional baseball player and a fun carefree single mom. Guaranteed to have some laughs with this one bed trope meddling family romcom.

(AUDIO)

I really loved this audiobook. Bluenose has done it again! I've fallen in love with this production company's style of layered audio when they do their duets - it's just - chefs kiss -

I am not TYPICALLY a fan of the accidental pregnancy trope, but this was good enough to make me reconsider! It probably helped that we didn't really hear much about Dylan's less savoury side effects - just her obsession with anything cherry-flavoured.

The way Cortney loved all the quirky things about Dylan that usually pushed other people away was just so special, and Teddy really nailed the inner monologue of this character I felt like. The way he had to fight to win over her son was realistic and yet heartwarming.

The biggest downer of the book was Beckett! Meddling dude just needed to stay in his lane!

Other things I loved:
- the swear 'jar' with a fee of $1000
- Junior
- adorable pet name
- the strong female representation and the amazing friendships

Fun and steamy!

Am enjoying the series. The narration was spot on, the characters, their personalities and quirks were easy to follow. This book had some laugh out loud moments, and I couldn't stop smiling at the pranks, and who doesn't love it when nasty people get put in their place. So, on to the next one.

Sweet and funny
