Neben diesen Protagonisten konnten die Produzenten Halver und Bachmann noch weitere große Namen aus der deutschen Hörspielszene für die Neuauflage des Kulthörspiels begeistern. So sind u. a. Katja Brügger und Hennes Bender bei Mopsy Mops neuem Abenteuer mit dabei. Als Autor konnte Monty Arnold verpflichtet werden, der auch als Erzähler durch die Geschichte führt.
