Auf seinem Weg fuhr er durch ganz Deutschland, durch die Schweiz, durch einen Teil von Italien, die Mittelmeerküste entlang bis nach Monaco, durch Südfrankreich, durch ganz Spanien und dann bis ans Cabo da Roca in Portugal, was der westlichste Punkt des Festlandes von Europa ist. Insgesamt legte er etwa 4000 Kilometer zurück.
