Learning about Mindfulness

Wonderful audio book about practicing Mindfulness. Only criticism is the Mindfulness exercises are not named so it’s not easy to just pick and choose. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn about and start practicing Mindfulness.

Great for beginners looking to begin being mindful

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The narrators voice was pleasant to listen to and nice and calm and relaxing. I would recommend this book to people who struggle to meditate or be 'in the moment' ... The great thing is that the mindfulness exercises are only 8-15min long, to be practised twice a day.... So for me (who usually falls asleep during long meditations) this worked well. It also gives you a chance to try all different sorts of meditation, moving, guided, laying, seated etc and find one style that works well for you.

Practical and useful

The delivery/performance was not especially motivating however the content, format and structure provided a really good program for mindfulness.

MIndfulness - beginning steps

If you could sum up Mindfulness in three words, what would they be?

It was a good basic introduction to the concepts. Need to read the full text to get to the guts of it.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I have not been brought up to consider this side of my being. Obviously, there is much more to me to explore.

Any additional comments?

A great intro to the basics, read it, learn, and grow. Good luck!
