Can’t stand the narrator

The narrator has a nasal voice and sounds bored for a lot of it, it’s read pretty monotonously. Just awful. I’d like to hear it with a different voice tbh.

Who is orating this?

I found this audible to be an especially terrible performance of reading, especially the rate and with bigger words.

Excellent and to the point.

An incredible 3 hrs and 31 mins audible with the subject of continuing through to the end. There's a lot of value to be seen here if you have problems with getting off your butt like many of us (including me) do.

A great resource to DBT.

My father recommended this book, and it is extremely helpful. I am planning to get a copy for each of my family members as well. It is easy to digest and actually enjoyable.

Well worth the money.

I’m glad I got this audible. I just felt some of the longer acronyms or techniques that had multiple parts the book could’ve been sorted better.

Great item, and part of my daily self-help work

While I definitely think this audible was written and produced more for clients, it’s been incredibly helpful to share as the therapist. It has useful, basic info, and since clients are experts in DBT, it really breaks it down.

Siri would have narrated better

I was only able to listen for ten minutes before giving up. The narrator sounded like a computer, no inflection or pacing and she kept mispronouncing words. I have no idea if the book is any good. I had to return it.

Finding Quiet in Your Day

I got this book as a refresher to mindfulness and got back into my meditation practice. The book was thoughtfully laid out, and the author does a clean job making sometimes complex ideas very palatable. I highly recommend to anyone getting into mindfulness!

Despite the title it does NOT include a workbook

I was extremely disappointed to find that despite explicitly saying it did in the title, the download doesn't come with a workbook.

A good book.

I was down when I finished listening to it and immediately started looking to it again. Laura Krueger's style of writing made it easy to understand and absorb.

Confusing book

I don’t believe this book wants to be a self-help or an academic book! The narration is very ‘computer’ like and I found it hard to listen to. If you are looking for a self-help book I would look else where!

Mindful Dialectical Behavior Therapy

The purpose of mindfulness, according to the author, is "to find a more salutary way to be a human being." And according to this book, exercising mindfulness is essential to cultivating more than one aspect.
