About this listen
Everyone dreams of reliving their life; we imagine what it might be be like to start over.
But when Gwen Song awakes in her 15-year-old body, she finds herself in a world of urban sorcery. Though the problems of her troubled childhood remain, the familiar society she once lived in has all but disappeared and has been replaced by a parallel reality....

It would have actually made more sense in some situations with how the main character responds in certain scenes. For someone with the mentality of a supposed adult, they constantly acted like a child. Characters would comment on her matureness but it never really comes across to the reader.
There is an uncomfortable amount of sexualisation of minors, which did nothing for the story and felt like it was only there for the reader's imagination.
The background lore of the world is pretty cool. I like the explanations for alternate historic events and the makeup of Australia and the rest of the world's politics and class systems.
The story skips multiple months and lingers on transparent plot points and ends up feeling all over the place. The idea for the story is very interesting but unfortunately falls flat on the execution.
Interesting but dissapointing
