This book is edgy, and suspenseful and all the things a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!

I started off fully intrigued with the storyline but then just wanted it to be over. Book 1 of a series that I have no intention of continuing, lots of internal dialogue, not my cup of tea. Narrators were good, 7 hours of breaking a woman’s spirit to rebuild her, no thanks.

Jacob Morgan was the perfect Carter Cross, his smooth authoritative tone portrayed his character perfectly. At time my skin crawled with his venomous tone, He narrated his dominant and dirty words with such an edge it brought me chills.

Savannah was brilliant, devastatingly brilliant. There was a desperation in her voice that captured me, you felt every emotion she portrayed. Her narration was spot on for her character.

Together this narration made the story come to life and I cannot wait to hear the next audio book in the series.

you need to download all 4 books in this series at once because each book leaves your heart racing and leaves you hanging for more right away!
this is a brilliant story, it's similar to carter reed, but stands alone as one of the best series I've read.
the female lead drags on a little bit and it just seems to repeat over and over, but once you get past that it's awesome.
great that the same narrators narrate all of the books.
