Hurra! Endlich kommt Max in den Kindergarten. Im Sitzkreis singen die Kinder ein lustiges Morgenlied. Max malt eine riesige Ritterburg, spielt drinnen und draußen, isst Nudeln mit Tomatensoße, ruht sich in der Kuschelecke aus - und viel zu früh ist Mama da, um ihn wieder abzuholen.
Dann hat Max Fieber. Deswegen geht er heute nicht in den Kindergarten, sondern zum Kinderarzt. Doktor Fröhlich untersucht Max von Kopf bis Fuß: Er horcht seinen Rücken ab, schaut ihm in den Hals und leuchtet mit einer Speziallampe in die Ohren. Schließlich stellt er fest: Max hat eine dicke Erkältung! Da helfen am besten Nasentropfen und viel Schlaf. Und bald ist Max wieder fit!
