Wow, this was so good. I enjoyed it immensely. Oh, that grandmother is not afraid of keeping her matchmaking a secret. I am now onto book 2 😄

i’ve read books before that had the female narrator but i’m only at chapter 4 and i can’t listen anymore. For some reason she sounds really high pitched and winy but in every word instead of just a few times in a book. She’s always sounded winy but this time she was constantly doing it and it ruined it, i couldn’t get past the sound to actually take in the content. I’ve loved the rest of the series so i came back to read this book but I’ll have to try another time when i’m a little more desperate to find a good book.

The writing style is enjoyable enough, but the whole serious-boss-meets-quirky-girl thing is very overdone. The part I just can't stop rolling my eyes at though is the insta-lust. They go from complete strangers, to "wow he/she is the hottest person I've ever met", to serious relationship, all in about 2.5 seconds. (OK slight exaggeration, it's actually...72 hours???)

I'm halfway through and think I'll probably DNF. It's just not keeping me engaged.

On the plus side, the narrators are fantastic. Way better than the story deserves.
