Publisher's Summary

Emotions are never easy to understand. That is because, for most of our lives, we have let them manage us. We haven’t taken the time to understand them because we are too distracted by events that are happening around us.

Emotional intelligence is one of the most important things in our lives. Even if we have strong intelligence, if we are not in tune with our emotions, then we cannot live fruitful and productive lives.

Instead, we struggle to relate to others around us and don’t have empathy, which can step on the toes of people in our lives.

Maybe you don’t have a high EQ, but the good news is, you can develop your EQ and get better at gauging and responding to other people’s emotions.

We all have emotional moments. They are what make us human beings. Often, we can be enclosed in our little worlds and not get out of it. We may hide behind our emotions and repress them under the shield of saving face or other things. But if we can express our emotions in healthy ways, then we will feel better and also will have better relationships with those around us.

We are busy at work. We have bills to pay. We are worried about our family. But the important thing to realize is that if we do not set aside the time to manage our emotions, then we are always going to be stuck in an endless loop of negative emotions.

We will never get the opportunity to break free and truly work towards things that add purpose to our lives and make us happier. And before we know it, we have already wasted most of our lives playing catch-up to our emotions.

This guide will focus on the following:

  • Why is it important to master your emotions?
  • What makes emotions so powerful?
  • Theories of emotions
  • Understanding your emotions
  • The importance of empathy
  • Emotional competence. How to develop it?
  • Decluttering your mind
  • Building your emotional resilience
  • Transforming emotions in emotional intelligence
  • How to control negative emotions
  • Strategies to improve relationships
  • Using emotional intelligence to improve your life
  • And More!

Our emotions are powerful, and they are also necessary. Without them, we might not be able to navigate the complexities of life. But the key takeaway here is that we have to use emotions to help us go through life.

We should be able to understand how they influence our lives.

You are not meant to merely survive life. You are meant to live it. And the first step towards living your life is to manage one of its most vital components: Your emotions.

Everything amazing👌 in this book📕

This book puts a lot of things in perspective when it comes to our emotions. For me, it really helped me understand why I act a certain way towards certain things. Why my reactions aren’t always the best thing for me to act on first. And how to overcome a lot of problems in my everyday dealings that I may have even on a subconscious level..
