Bad audio ruins a good collection

I want to state first and foremost the several voice actors used for this book did a decent job. For the most part they for the most part interesting to listen to, engaged, and lively. I could fault individuals but that seems needless. The problem is that the audio recording of this book is deeply damaged. There were several times listening to this that static occurred drowing out voices and recording skips. On top of that one of the stories was so badly recorded that it was impossible to hear without reworking my sounds system. I downloaded the title several times to see if it was something on my end. It was not. This book should not be sold or bought unless a new recording is made.

More Malice Domestic is a fine enough collection. Taking stories from the anthologies Malice Domestic 1 and Malice Domestic 2 that had not been placed on those recordings due to legal issues. So this is the collection with various other recordings from two different editors. Overall good stories, interesting moments, some good comedy and a blend of suspense and horror in a few spots to make a good collection. I suspect mystery lovers who enjoy a light hearted romp will have more fun with this collection. I'd say pick it up and try it out but the audio problems are a deterrent.

Awful

Struggled to finish. I can't imagine any of these stories being linked to Mary Higgins Clark who is a fantantastic author.
