Es ist noch sehr früh am Tag. Der Ermittler trinkt Cognac. Auf seiner Stirne und Oberlippe stehen Schweißtropfen, obwohl es im Café kalt ist. Fedor blickt betroffen auf den Bericht. Noch jemand ist anwesend, Marthe, aber man kann sie weder sehen noch hören. Nichts Neues im Wissen.
