Lots of action
I enjoyed this one as much as the others in the series. This one had a lot more action. Can’t wait for the next.

Well written & intriguing
I have devoured this series and enjoyed the twists and turns of the plot and I’m impatiently awaiting the next books in the series to be released on audiobook

One of the best!
This series with the Kings Dark Tidings series and Kingkiller chronicles and He who fights with Monsters are my favourite series. If you like this or the others then this is a great fast paced and clever read.

Amazing as always
This series is definitely one that will forever be in my faves list and one I'll re listen over and over again. Honestly I'll probably buy the books too and read them. It just has everything I've ever wanted; in depth characters, characters who use wit to get out of problems, humour, magical world building and action. And of course the narrator is a god when it comes to his narrations, can never go wrong with him!
My only grievance is how it ended! It's got me so excited for the next book, but it's not out yet!!! 😭

Great, but not really.
If you like the other series, its pretty much the same. action packed and whatnot. But with it being the 5th, it feels really slow. The actual storylines dont move as much and theres so much action that it borders repetitive and boring. I snoozed listening to some of the action scenes. I might buy the 6th, but with 3 being a filler and this and 4 being so slow...i feel like giving up on it.
were already at 5, and still I feel like half of the story couldve been cut or less, and this would still work.
