About this listen
Manuel Machado, one of the Machado brothers, was a poet of the so called "Generation of 98". He wrote poetry in the "Andalusian style" and dramatic works, some in collaboration with his brother Antonio Machado. Manuel Machado's poetry is different to his more famous brother but it has the same quality and class. Indeed, to really understand and enjoy the two brothers poetry its necessary to have read both of them. The contrast in between their poetry makes their individuality even more attractive. Then you can decide who you like the most.
