In Making You Mine...

Knox Bentley never liked the pomp and circumstance that came with being wealthy. He'd distanced himself from his pretentious family and their fortune as a young adult and found his own path to success. But even with the world at his fingertips, he realizes something is missing, and after a long stay overseas, he finally knows exactly what it is. His no-strings-attached hookups with Aubrey Stewart, an exquisite and stubbornly independent blonde, are no longer enough for him. They connect on every level, but Aubrey is a fierce businesswoman with a new movie channel on the horizon and no time for much else. She is the deal he can't close, the precious jewel even his billions can't buy. Now that he's back in the States, he's determined to show her that what they have goes beyond the bedroom and finally make her his.

Love in Bloom novels feature alpha-male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're flawed, funny, passionate, and relatable to listeners who enjoy contemporary romance and women's fiction. For avid fans of the Love in Bloom series, you may have met sexy and hilarious Knox Bentley, Graham Braden's business partner, in Trails of Love, and Aubrey Stewart, one of the badass billionaire founders of the Ladies Who Write (LWW), in Anything for Love.

Great Story!

Great Story!
Making You Mine is an engaging contemporary romance and an excellent addition to The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls series. You can't help but be fascinated by the main characters. Aubrey Stewart and Knox Bentley are both career-driven, friends with benefits, who have known each a long time. They are charismatic with stubborn and strong personalities. Their connection is explosive, one of mutual desire and passion; together, they are perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed their journey.

The dual narration by Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke is outstanding. They both captured the nuances of the characters and their chemistry, giving us a satisfying listen. Melissa Foster is a gifted author, I appreciate her style and creativity.

Overall this was a delightful story, one I recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

Finding True Love

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook of Making You Mine by Melissa Foster. This audiobook does not disappoint. It was sweet, sinful, electric and of course had love. The narrators Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke did an amazing job narrating this story. Knox Bentley and Aubrey Stewart are both strong and independent from their families. They have also been hooking up for 2 years every chance they get. When Knox is away in Belize, he has time to think and realize he wants more than just hooking up. He wants a relationship with Aubrey. Now he just needs to convince Aubrey to give it a try and be with him. He will stop at nothing to get what he wants and to convince her they are meant for one another. Their story was so good and i could not stop listening to it.

love love love

I originally read this book back when it was released. I just finished listening to the audio book. I love it just as much. Since being quarantined, I have been gardening a lot and have been listening while outside. I highly recommend.

Aubrey and Knox were,"hooking up" for two years. Knox really wanted to date Aubrey. She wasn't into having a boyfriend, she looked at Knox as just a hookup. Aubrey who runs the LWW is looking for the perfect location to film Charlotte's movie. Knox told Aubrey he had connections at an Inn she wanted to film at. They head to the Inn for a meeting, come to find out Knox was hiding a small detail. After being snowed in things changed.
As always, this is a fantastic book. Melissa never disappoint. I highly recommend this story. There is a HEA with no cliffhanger.

Aubrey and Knox are FIRE!

This was my first Melissa Foster book and it was a great first listen. I love their chemistry, the fire that they had between them. Knox was a great character, I loved his sense of humor and take no prisoners attitude to get his woman and make her understand that their relationship was more than just a fling. It was a great story of overcoming walls, breaking down barriers and understanding your partner and their needs. It was performed beautifully by Andi and Jason. Their voices meld so well together! Highly recommend this one.

Fun Romance

Title: Making You Mine
Author: Melissa Foster
Format: Audio
Narrator: Andi Arendt and Jason Clarke
Genre: Romance, friends with benefits, billionaire, small town
Standalone: yes, but even more fun if you have read other Melissa Foster books as a ton of her characters are interrelated and have their own books
Part of a Series: Book 5 of The Bradens & Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill-Oak Falls
POV: Aubrey and Knox
Steam Level: steamy
4/5

Making You Mine is a quick read featuring Aubrey and Knox who have been friends with benefits for two years whenever they attend the same business functions. Can they become more? Can they balance business and pleasure. Throw in a snow storm and family and Knox and Aubrey are spending more time together than originally planned. Making you mine was cute and sweet. I enjoyed it but feel like I'd enjoy these books if I start from the very beginning so I can meet the previousl couples.

Love, Strong Characters, and Great Storyline

An author who never fails to bring characters that draw you in, a storyline with some angst but not too much, a rewarding HEA, and secondary characters you can’t wait delve deeper into.
Knox and Aubrey have had a sexual relationship, hooking up when they are able, when Knox finds it isn’t enough and wants a permanent relationship. Aubrey believes she must remain independent without permanent relationship....but she hasn’t acknowledged to herself what her feelings are..
Well written storyline with characters you cheer for..love this author...love the perfect narrators that bring the story to life.

Best boyfriend - Knox

Wow - can I just say that this romance read / listen just blew me away! This is book 5 in the series and can be read as a stand alone but there are repeat characters that make an appearance. Knox is about the most perfect guy ever and Aubrey is too busy to get herself tied down but Knox has a way of chipping into her life without her even knowing he's done just that. A beautiful romance with just the right amount of heat mixed with the sweet. Well written and well narrated - I loved the dual narration and both these narrators brought this book to life. Smooth vocals and wonderful writing make this a must read / listen. I can't wait to get more!

Knox, Aubrey, billionaires, lavish life style

Knox and Aubrey had an understanding for the past few years. Hot, sweaty, intense, exhilarating sex with no strings. That was until things changed. Knox had time to exam his life and realized that he found that one person that makes his life the more. Aubrey was still in denial and she was not going to allow for a connection that went outside the scope of sex with not attachments.

Watching Aubrey struggle with the reality of what she was experiencing with Knox was a little sad. She was so focused on making things on her own in her own way. She was losing site of the connection that could lift her up to that next level. Her winter getaway weekend that was a work weekend turned in to so much more. She got a chance to see another side of Knox and a little more of herself.

Aubrey falling in love with Knox was delightful to watch. Seeing them grow together and figure things out was enchanting with the winter snow.

Andi Arndt makes it better every time. Adding JAson Clarke and you got a strong sexy male voice that give you the pitch and tone and helps set things up just right.

Loved this sexy romance!

I am a big fan of Melissa Foster's books and this is another winner! This is the first one I listened to in this series and I now want to go back and listen to the earlier ones! I really enjoyed how Knox romance Aubrey to show her how much he cared for her and wanted to date her. She was afraid to lose her independence by dating but finally realized her feelings for Knox. I loved the journey for the 2 of them to get to that point. All of the characters in the book were great to get to know. Both narrators were awesome as always! Totally loved this book and highly recommend it!

From casual to intense

Knox and Aubrey are trying to be casual. But we all know in the romance world how well that works out. Knox is all in. He does everything he can to woo Aubrey. Aubrey is still unsure and needs a lot of coaxing. (I actually tried to coax her myself!) I fell hard for Knox. I wanted Aubrey to see that in him. It was a nice change to see the guy work hard to get the girl. I really enjoyed this book. I did not read the others in the series, yet! But it was easy to follow and I did not feel as if I missed anything important. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke are a powerful narrating team. They compliment each other well. It is so easy to get lost in their narration. Each transition was smooth and flawless. You can never go wrong with either one of these narrators, let alone with both of them. Add in Melissa Foster and this is one MUST listen to story.

Awesome narration

I seriously loved the narration on this book. It made the characters real in my head. It was like watching a movie. Major props. The book was really good. It can be read as a standalone, although you do have cameos from other characters in previous books. The writing was done well, the characters were multidimensional. This is a great book to have when you're looking for minimal angst. The story flowed well, and I listened to it in one sitting. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended.

Listen to the Audible version

I was super excited to see Melissa Foster, Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt all on the same audiobook, since I search out books to read/listen to any of them on their own. I had really high expectations for the combination of the three and they didn't disappoint.

The worst thing I can say is that I wish I had re-read all the Love in Bloom books recently. Since it's been awhile, I know I'm not remembering all of the background with the characters. That being said, Making You Mine can be read as a stand alone, you just get more background if you have read the series. The story itself didn't surprise me, but it also didn't make me angry with excessive break ups and reunions so I'd like to give it 4.5 stars.

The performances I'd rate higher than 5 stars if there was an option above 5. Dual points of view with dual narrators brings the story to life, and they're both exceptional narrators.

hooking up leads to love

Another great story in this series by Melissa Foster. It was so good that I had to listen almost in one sitting. Causal hookup leads to falling in love for Aubrey and Knox. She was fighting her heart to give away her love to him. She didnt want to do relationship. Knox knew she was it. From end of Chapter 15 to end of book, I wasn't teary eyed you were. highly recommend this series.

Andi Ardnt and Jason Clarke can't say enough about these 2. They are both favorites. I love when they narrate together. Jason Clarke's voice in my ears..Wow.

Sweet

This is such a sweet story and I really liked the interaction between Knox and Aubrey, as well as the interaction between these two characters and their family and friends. I don't have too much knowledge about this series, with this being one of the first in the series that I've listened to but I really enjoy the world and especially, the beautiful relationships that seem to be at the crux of the story (both romantic, familial and friendly).

Another thing is that the audiobook is fantastic. I expected that with Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke but they are especially good in this story. Jason Clarke truly has one of the best ranges possible with such great ability to play both male and female characters and Andi Arndt does the same. I loved their narration and they elevated the story to another level.

Enjoyable with good narration

I enjoyed the way that Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt narrated this story, they really brought the story to life.

I did enjoy watching these two dance around each other and the way that they change and grew throughout the book. It was interesting to see the worlds they inhabit and how they coped with each others friends etc.

Beautiful!

Knox and Aubrey have been hooking up for a few years. They met at an event and the connection they felt was strong. Knox is getting tired of just constantly hooking up with Aubrey. He's ready to make their relationship official. He finds that Aubrey is very reluctant and unwilling to move to the next step. Not wanting to let that discourage him, he makes it a point to do everything in his power to win her over.

When I first started reading this, I was like oh here we go. Let's see how fast we can predict this. Should we expect to see this on Hallmark? I found myself being pleasantly surprised. It wasn't a cheesy story at all. It was very well written and wholesome. It's the kind of book that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. It gives you hope on things that seem impossible. I think this is the fifth book in a series. I haven't read the first four books, but if they are just as adorable as this book, I fully plan to.

I know that Aubrey should be this unlikeable person. She refuses to be in a relationship because she's afraid that it will distract her from her business. It's easy to understand her point of view. She has so many successful people in her family. Even though her family is proud of her as she is, she still feels this sense of pressure. It's completely understandable. Knox is just so sweet. He's not perfect by any means, but he's amazing and is completely perfect for Aubrey. I loved both of their families and the people they work with. I wish I could have gotten to know them a bit more.

This book was narrated by Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke. They did a pretty amazing job. I am trying to remember if I have listened to anything else they have done. It's hard to keep track. I do find that I listen to many audiobooks. It seems to increase as time goes on. I can say I'm so impressed with their performance that I'm willing to listen to others that they perform. I would listen to both solo and duo performances from them.

I misjudged this book very horrible. It makes me feel bad. I stuck with it anyways. I'm glad I did. It was a very amazingly short and sweet book. It's wholesome and hilarious. It's hard not to read the book and root for Knox and empathize with Aubrey. I could see this being a very adorable mini-series or movie in the future. I think I should go back and read the first four books.
