Another ghost.

I love this series. They are so funny. Laurel meets an old friend of Basil's named Louis who seems to be "full of himself." Shortly afterwards Basil and Louis go skydiving. Of course, Louis ends up dead when his parachute fails to open and he falls in her moms house. It is not an accident and Basil seems to be the prime suspect because inherits everything from Louis. Now it is up to Laurel and Basil to find out who murdered Louis. Yes of course his ghost showed up. Come along and find out who really murdered Louis. Tiffany does a great job doing Laurel's mothers voice. Her mom is annoying and funny.

Narrator is TOO good at imitating the mother!!!

zealots, amateur-sleuth, women-sleuths, punfest, humor, romance, cozy-mystery, ghosts -----

Decided to binge Witch Woods Funeral Home instead of Netflix. Each is good stand-alone, but much more fun with full hilarious background. Thanks be that Laurel finally moved out of her lunatic/zealot mother's house and is renovating the apartment above the funeral home! Now she can finally explore her attraction to her accountant, Basil. But Basil promptly becomes the chief suspect in his friend's murder. And so the sleuthing begins! Their suspect list keeps growing, but the police only seem to see Basil. Meanwhile, there is more hilarity going on at the funeral home. If you need a cozy with a real plot and lots of humor, this is the place to find it!
Just had to get the audio to complement the ebook, and YES, the narrator is too perfect as the mother!

Wonderful story

It is a wonderful story. I was so glad Laurel moved out of her mother's house in this book. Laurel must figure out who did it this time before Basil is arrested for murder.

Awesome!!

Really enjoyed listening to this on my nightly walks! I read the first two books and decided to listen to this one! Great choice!! The book really came to life with Ms. Dougherty's voice! Recommend highly!

Always good.

I've been reading several of Morganna Best's books. This is the first one that I have tried in audible. I really enjoyed it. The narrator used different voices for different people. I got to where I could recognize them by the different voices, which I think is cool. I love this story. Needless to say there is a ghost! And someone who likes to drop down from a plane with a parachute. It just happens to be Laurel's boyfriend, and his best friend. And that's where the story starts.
