Bei einer Expedition zum Nachbarplaneten Glosch, dessen Oberfläche noch aus reinem Magma besteht, entdeckt man eine bisher unbekannte Lebensform, die Magnozyten. Um das Leben dieser Plasmawesen genauer zu erforschen, wird eine Raumstation in die Umlaufbahn von Glosch gebracht und eine Kette verhängnisvoller Ereignisse nimmt ihren Lauf.

Wieder einmal wird deutlich, dass "Takimo" derzeit immer noch keine ernsthafte Konkurrenz im Genre Science Fiction-Hörspiel hat, abgesehen natürlich von "Perry Rhodan".

Es gelingt nur wenig anderen SciFi-Hörspielen, eine unterhaltsame Geschichte, tolle Sprecher und harmonische Musik miteinander zu vereinen. Polaris-Hörspiele gelingt es.
