Publisher's Summary

This complete reverse harem series is ready to be devoured!

One badass mercenary. Four sexy-as-sin rebels. Bound together by powerful magic and dangerous desire....

In a world ruled by magic, surviving without it means I have to be quicker, smarter, and fiercer than the magical beings that run this city.

I get by just fine working as a bounty hunter...until what should be a routine take-down of an incubus and his buddies turns into a disaster when something inside me goes haywire.

Turns out, I do have magic. And it's so powerful, it's bonded four insanely gorgeous men to me.

Akio, the incubus whose touch lights me on fire.

Jae, the mage who sees past all my defenses.

Fenris, the wolf shifter with the sexy grin.

And Corin, the man from my past who still holds a piece of my soul.

They're part of an underground rebellion fighting back against the magical elite, and they claim they need my help.

But if I agree to fight alongside them, I may be risking more than my life.

I could lose my heart too.

Magic Awakened is a complete medium-burn reverse harem series with steamy scenes and pulse-pounding action.

Contradictory

Narration:
Enjoyed the narrater. Some of her male voices were obnoxious but that happens when you have so many male characters to portray.

Story:
Love the idea behind the story. Even enjoyed most of the series. However, I have some complaints that drove me nuts.
1 - inconsistency throughout. In one chapter it’ll say one thing and the next chapter contradicts the previous. Shows where there must have been breaks in writing the fill story.
2 - redundant. Nearly identical sentences only a paragraph or three apart.
3 - Heroine’s character profile seems to change from book to book. Starts strong. Becomes erratic and kind of whiny. I can understand circumstantial changes but it just seemed too severe a departure from initial character.

I really did like the idea of the story and most of it is good. I just listen to / read a lot of books and have developed some ‘pet peeves,’ if you will. 😏

STUPID GIRL, good story

I enjoy this author, but was disappointed with our MC's choices. I believe this is one of Ms Moss' earliest works and it may have impacted the story. My chief complaint is the MC rushing into danger, or reacting to situations ill-equipped, with bad results. Her inability to debate with the counsel, or other gifted was infuriating. I loved "The Academy of Unpredictable Magic" series so much more (I've listened to it multiple times) -- but I doubt I'll read this series again. As always I enjoyed this narrater.

Drawn in

I the beginning I had a hard time staying focused. Then I became drawn in to the point of not wanting it to end, or at least to find out what happened next.

Story A, Narrator F

The story line was actually very good, but it was so hard to get it to the story. The narrator was just plan terrible with the male voices. It sounds like she is making funny of the way someone specks, or just doing a bad version of Dracula

Phenomenal Paranormal RH series

I absolutely loved this series. It has a mix of supernaturals and a human. An underground faction trying to get rights for all. An interesting group if friends and a bounty hunter that is something more than she believed. Seriously an amazing story that pulls you in to an adventure and mystery filled story.

blighted

Lana "thinks" she is a blighted mercenary until she takes on a job to go after an incubus named Akio. She ends up bonded not only to Akio but also to Jae, Fenris and Corin. Which leads her into joining the rebellion. I enjoyed listening to this series.
