From book 1 to book 3, the series has been an epic rollercoaster ride of action, character developements, story arc, banter, stats, skills, world building and progression. I just took a punt on this series and I'm happy I did. now I just hope the mysterious Cornman keeps writing these books, because I'm a huge fan and I can't wait to see what happens next. (seriously, there is another book soon right???)

The first three books were fun adventures with action and humour. This one is densely intellectual. Lots of metaphysics of dungeons and deities, epistemological debates and stats and skills info dumping. Exhausting. Maybe if you're into playing dungeon games it's awesomesauce, but I'm here for the story and the laughs. This is still well written and performed but I've got no idea what's going on cos I just don't have the energy to follow philosophy and politics of a fictional world.

there is not a single reason for the stupid pause and saying it over and over and over again makes the book unreadable and I really thought you would have grown up by now and taken it out
