Story
Anthony 'Harry' Moffitt spent more than 20 years in the SAS. His decades of service and his multiple tours in East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan made him one of the regiment's most experienced and recognised figures. Alongside the SAS, Harry's other lifetime love is cricket. An improvised game of cricket was often the circuit-breaker Harry and his team needed after the tension of operations. He began a tradition of organising matches wherever he was sent.

Story
Taking us from the suburbs of Western Sydney and Australia's military army bases, to the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq, this is a remarkable audiobook that reveals the as-yet untold story of the battle for Mosul and the secret involvement of Australians on both sides of the war - both our commandos and Australian ISIS fighters. Mosul details the rise of ISIS influence in Australia, the Iran and Australia allegiance to fight Daesh and shows what led up to the battle and the ramifications that are still being felt at home - by our soldiers and the victims of that war.

Story
Growing up was tough for Daniel. When he was 11, his father showed up in his life, for the first time, with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He relocated his son, daughter and their mother 400 kilometres away from their loving grandparents and a coastal home to a shack with a dirt floor in outback Queensland. From then on, Daniel fought to maintain a sense of order and purpose amid the chaos of family violence and criminal activity. Inspired by his much-loved grandfather, a WWII veteran, Daniel joined the army.

Story
Members of the military’s special operations branches share a closely guarded secret: They love their jobs. They relish the opportunity to fight. They are thankful for it, even, and hopeful that maybe they’ll get to kill a bunch of bad guys while they’re at it. You don’t necessarily need to thank them for their service - the pleasure is all theirs. In this hilarious and personal memoir, listeners ride shotgun alongside former Army Ranger and private military contractor and current social media phenomenon Mat Best, into the action and its aftermath, both abroad and at home.

Story
Jason Fox served with the SBS for over a decade, thriving on the close bonds of the Special Forces brotherhood and the ‘death or glory’ nature of their missions. Battle Scars tells the story of his career as an elite operator, from the gunfights, hostage rescues, daring escapes and heroic endeavours that defined his service to a battle of a very different kind: the psychological devastation of combat that ultimately forced him to leave the military and the hard reality of what takes place in the mind of a man once a career of imagined invincibility has come to an end.

Publisher's Summary
There are special forces. There are US Navy SEALs. There is the select and secretive group of highly trained operators known as SEAL Team Six, or MOB VI as they like to call it.
And then there is Justin Sheffield.
When it comes to talking about the most experienced, effective, and deadly warriors in the world, Sheffield is part of an exclusive group that can be counted on one hand. None have served on more combat operations - more than 1,000. None have taken out more enemies of America and freedom around the globe. None who still draw breath have paid a greater physical and emotional price for serving their country. MOB VI is a volume unlike any seen before.
This audiobook is uncompromising, raw, violent, and real. It is the story of today's most elite warrior - a patriot who fights for his country at the apex of the war against evil and a vulnerable man of faith who continues to battle demons within.

Amazing!
This is by far one of the better modern war biographies available. The honesty of the brutality of war and the operators “warrior” mindset is rarely discussed so candidily and served as a breathe of fresh air.
Justin’s narration really brings it all together.
I would of loved it to be a much longer story (8-10hrs) as there was some large broad strokes that could of been filled out more but this is purely from a selfish perspective as I want to read more!
Thanks for sharing your stories Justin.

Fast read /listen
I listened to this book in 2, 2 hour chunks. Listening to Justin tell his story was riveting. It was like listening to a family member tell this story around a camp fire. The pace, cadence, and story line was refreshing from most other books.
This is the second book that has mentioned electric brain therapy and how well it works for TBI and PTS. Thank you to all who have served. I hope everyone that needs help gets help, including the wives who stay at home and and raise their families.

WOW WOW WOW!!!!
Holy Batman!!!! No words to relay how truly profound this book is...... his narration is one of the best narrations I’ve ever heard for an audiobook.
It was riveting hearing him speak. I could close my eyes and feel like I am seeing and experiencing exactly what he is describing. I could feel my heart race increase as adrenaline starts to dump in my body. Absolutely brilliant book and narration. Was so captivated, I listened to the entire book in one day!
Thanks for everything Justin but I know thank you is simply not enough.

This book changed my life in a way I didn't expect
This book is bigger then the stories.
As a combat vet of Ramada Iraq I've struggled with PTSD.
I'm not alone, I know but to hear someone that struggled as me , it helps.

Sheffield is an awesome reader.
The first thing that struck me about this book is how good Sheffield is at reading. It's like you're sitting across the table from him having a beer while he tells you the story. Next, if you're looking for some great leadership advice or motivation to run 100 miles, this ain't your book. This book is about shooting bad people in the face, saying hysterically insensitive stuff, and the extreme dedication it takes to be one of these guys. And finally Sheffield makes himself vulnerable by describing how his experiences negatively effected his mental health. I found myself feeling a real sense of relief and happiness for the guy at the end when he described the treatment that made him feel better. The only critical comment I have is the book could be longer. I'm sure there was some other cool stuff he could have described to get it at least to the 6 hour mark. Good Job, Sheff.
