Publisher's Summary

Among the Space Wolves there are as many sagas as there are warriors. Though none quite like that of Lukas the Trickster.

Renowned and reviled in equal measure, the Jackalwolf has ever stood apart from his brothers, passed from pack to pack by embittered Wolf Lords. But as a new enemy invades the icy reaches of Fenris at the height of the Helwinter, Lukas finds himself facing a foe who may rival even his legendary cunning - the drukhari corsair, Duke Sliscus.

In the battle between wolf and serpent, who will emerge triumphant, and who will lie on red snow?

A very fine edition to the Vlka Fenryka

This tale was a great rendition of the late saga of the Vlka Fenryka before the events of Dark Imperium. Lukas represents the chaotic and fun nature of his chapter whereas the Serpent Duke Slyscus all that is fun and horrific of the Dark Eldar. A great hunt and story.

I hope for a sequel

A quality 40k title with an interesting character that moves at a steady clip. Never felt it drag on once through the whole experience.

Lukas the Trickster is fantastic!

Black Library keeps the quality stuff coming with this audiobook. If you like Space Wolves or Dark Eldar you will likely enjoy this. The performance is great and you get an inside look at the characters of witty Lukas and the evily-charming Duke Sliscus. Definitely worth a credit or even outright buying.

A Gripping, Well-Read Tale

Lukas the Trickster is an astounding feat of writing and storytelling, and John Banks’ voice work brings the entire, biting story to life. Both he and Josh Reynolds have worked wonders to bring honor to one of Warhammer 40k’s most notorious heroes in a spellbinding, thrill-a-minutes tale of cunning schemes and brute ferocity.

Favorite warhammer book yet!

Favorite warhammer book yet! Bought it because I finally started painting my Space Wolves and Lukas will be in damn near every game I play now. He reminds me a bit of Jack Sparrow and his shenanigans mixed with some Deadpool wit.

Fantastic

A really great and fun book in the 40k realm. Lukas is a breath of fresh air and a side not often shown in the grim stories of the far future. Well worth a listen and well performed by John Banks.
