Story
I knew something was wrong the second she walked in the door tonight; I just couldn't put my finger on what it was. Same hair color. Same legs. Same face. Except...I look harder. At the small dimple beneath her lip that wasn't there the last time we went out. And her laugh - that laugh isn't as loud. This isn't the girl I've gone out with the past few weeks. It's her twin sister, and they've switched places on me.

My resignation letter was rejected by my boss with his sexy, trademark smirk and an "I highly suggest you read the fine print of your contract...." So, I did. Story
It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.” Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there.

Marrying a stranger tops the list of things you should never do in Las Vegas, but I did it anyway. The entire night was my idea. I was the one who suggested a wake-up-with-a-tiger kind of night. Instead, I woke up with a ring on my finger and Vince Rossi in my bed. Vince was nothing like I thought he was and everything I never knew I needed. Suddenly I was falling head-over-heels in love with my accidental husband and the idea of ending this union was the last thing I wanted. I wanted forever. So what if we barely knew each other?

I left it with more than orgasms and a pleasant memory - namely, his wallet. Now he's staring me down like I'm the dirt under his Italian loafers, and I'm supposed to take it. But the thing about being Judith "Jude" Humphry is I have nothing to lose. Brooklyn girl. Infamously quirky. Heir to a stack of medical bills and a tattered couch.

Fast forward ten years and life is good, until a bunch of jerks think it’s hilarious to put the “butterface” (AKA me) on a wedding Kiss Cam with the hottest guy ever - and that old humiliation hits hard. Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job - a job I’d now have to compete for, even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She’d ticketed a long line of cars - except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.

Publisher's Summary
Dear Mister...no, too formal.
Hey there sweet cheeks....no, too forward
*Clears throat*
To whom it may concern,
Full disclosure: Before we move forward with this email, I would like it to be known that I have consumed an adequate amount of alcoholic beverages to intoxicate myself tonight. Three margaritas, two shots, and one beer - because it was free.
I think it's important to be open and honest with your coworkers, don't you?
So here I am, being open and honest. Drunk but honest. Or just drunk with lust? You decide.
I have a hopeless, foolish schoolgirl crush on you when you are the last person on earth I should be falling for. Did you know people around the office call you a sadist? An egomaniac. An insensitive, arrogant prick. But what they don't know is your bark is worse than your bite. And that bite doesn't scare me. The fact is, I'd love that bite of yours to nip at my bare skin while we're both wearing nothing but sheets.
For once I want you to look at me as more than one of your employees.
And as long as we're being honest, that navy blue suit you wear? With the crisp white shirt? It really makes me want to loosen your tie and show you exactly who's boss.
Love,
Sincerely,
Yours

Read this book instead of listening to it
Disappointed. I liked the story enough but I couldn’t get past the male narrator screaming every single line. Very jarring. I got as far as chapter 15 but couldn’t continue. The email at the center of the story (Not a spoiler since it’s on the description of this book) was read by the male performer in a shout-y voice full of incredulity and anger. Lost opportunity when it could’ve been sexy. I’m getting my credit back.

DNF - Can't Handle the Male Narrator
I feel like I would LOVE this book if I read it or the male narrator were different. I just couldn't handle the narrator for this book so DNF about halfway through. Loved Ava Erickson, though and the story is great (I think). I'm going to read this one on my own.

The male narrator killed this story for me.
Both of the characters were okay. I felt the male narrator completely ruined this story for me. The way he made the main male character sound made him unlikeable, then the female narrator would start and the male character was much more likable.
I would recommend reading the book. Skip this audiobook.

5 stars for story and female narrator
This is such an awesome story!!! I love Sara Ney!! and now I can't wait to read/listen to some of Meghan's lighter stuff (I can't handle a bunch of crying lol) Also, as always, the female narrator, Ava, was wonderful!! However, who in the world heard the Male narrator and said "yeah, women are going to like to hear their voice butchered like that!" His voice in general was not my taste but I can look past that knowing that's just my personal feelings about it. However, someone, for the love of the audiobook gods, please coach this guy on how to properly produce a woman's voice without making her sound like a 12 yr old valley girl with no brains. Thanks!!!

Story Took Some time to get Good
I enjoyed the rom-com humor and banter between Payton and Rome once the story got more personal between them but it took till almost the end of the book before the chemistry and sexual tension cane through for me.
I did not enjoy the male narrator speaking the female parts he sounded like Minnie Mouse without a brain. Which made the female character sound ridiculous.
The female character was on and she did a decent job speaking the male parts. I wish they had found a female narrator that sounded a bit older. The character is 30 but the female narrator sounded like she was 19.
I think I should have stuck with reading the story.
I don’t think I’ll listen to any other books narrated by the male narrator again he just ruins the female POV
Listen with caution.

OMG
I have just finished chapter 3 and I don't think I am going to be able to take this audio book much longer. I have not listened to any audios with Alexander Cendese and he is not good. He seems to be yelling his words and over the top with the dramatics. The other thing is his female voice is terrible. I am going to continue for a few more characters because from the synopsis of this story it sounds interesting. But I had to put this comment out there for the people who depend on audio only for a reason.
Ok, I have gotten to chapter 7, I can't go any further. The female narrator Ava was great. But it can't save this audio book. To bad, it was funny with Eva's characters. Not to be mean to A.C. But he really needs to calm it down A LOT!!!!

Waste of time
The heroine was alright, but the hero was absolutely terrible: stressed all the time, shitty boss, shitty person.
Can’t imagine what she ever ding in him.
The interaction was flat.
Hated this book so much because it had potential.

Loved the story
Sara Ney and Meghan Quinn had me from the first to the last chapter; a great book and one I loved.
Having read both Sara Ney and Meghan Quinn individually and loved their writing I just knew that together they would produce something amazing and they most certainly did.
An office romance, but oh what a romance. I laughed so much I was in danger of passing out; I was totally invested from the start.
This is a great example of romantic comedy and the slow burn was so worth it as when it came to a climax, oh boy! Rome was totally swoon worthy and had me sighing on numerous occasions and Peyton, well I just loved them both.
Put simply it made me smile and happy and generally feel good.
Having read the book, I couldn't wait for the audio. Whilst I really enjoyed it and the narration was great I was a tad let down when the male narrator voiced the female part in the chapters and vice a versa..

Had trouble finishing
I was never able to like Payton. She is arrogant and prideful. She played games with Rome's emotion in a way that felt like she was just proving she could. He allowed her to walk over him, and continued to bend over backwards for her. For a dominant, controlling CEO, he sure was whimpy, easily have into others.

An Hilarious Romance!
I really loved this book and especially Peyton who has an unrequited attraction to her boss. Rome her boss has no idea Peyton exists, when he whole concentration is totally on the business he built from the ground.
That is until she hands in her notice, as she is starting her own business. Hoping for some work as a consultant, with no luck. While working her notice Rome finds out how irreplaceable she is.
After drinking too much at her leaving do, she decides to send him a message or more of a drunken proposition with the theme being “I want to bang you” the phrase that keeps going through Rome’s brain.
At first Rome is appalled, but then he can’t help responding. So the dance begins, as Rome soon realises what an integral part of his marketing Peyton was. Rome becomes obsessed with communicating with handsromingmybody. This is a slow burn kind of romance, but once on the go gets very hot and Rome becomes quite swoony. Rome is a not a ladies man, devoting himself to his business. His best friend and business partner Hunter is the only person he could talk to. When he was with Peyton she could see through him and knew what he wanted. A really enjoyable read and can’t wait for hunter’s book which hopefully is coming soon.
A Great writing duo has been born and I can't wait for more.
Wow what great narration, I have read the book and loved it. Listening to this audiobook Ava Erickson and Alexander Cendese just brought the characters to life in a different way. I loved it when Alexander was reading the emails from Peyton it was hilarious. Hunter was great I can’t wait for his book. Ava is always excellent, and brought Peyton to life and the performance which left me mesmerized. This is the first time I have listened to Alexander and it won’t be the last.
