About this listen

Set in medieval times, Lourin ran away from a life of wealth and luxury suffocated by formalities and responsibilities. She then lived the simple life she desired with a husband who loved her beyond measure and two amazing daughters.

Lourin’s evil in-laws colluded with a corrupt bishop to get rid of her and hired bandits who ripped her true love from her life; then mercenaries kidnapped her daughters and captured her. She experienced despair being taken halfway across the world and thrown over a waterfall. Left for dead in an African jungle she fearlessly fought for survival defeating lions, a gigantic snake, crocodiles and fierce tribes.

In a time when women were looked down on as being weak she stood unwavering against the world and unleashed the lioness within. Lourin conquered Viking warriors, dark spirits and demons sent by witches to break her. Deceived once again, captured and tortured she endured all the horrors to annihilate the bishop along with the warlord and his army.

Finally, she restored her reason for living and fulfilled the promise to her deceased husband by rescuing her daughters being held captive inside the orphanage.
