About this listen

In six days, everything changes.

After slaying a Lord-class monster, Jordan earns massive rewards—and paints a target on his back. The System responds with a global countdown: in six days, the entire world levels up. Every monster, every faction, every alien species gets stronger.

Jordan doesn’t have time to celebrate. His kingdom is small, his army still growing, and his enemies are advancing fast. Ruthless alien factions are expanding their territory. Hidden species make their move. And forces watching from beyond the planet are ready to interfere.

The clock is ticking. Jordan must push his class, his summons, and his drone army to the limit to survive what comes next. But nothing—nothing—can prepare them for what the countdown really means.

Because the System isn’t done testing them.

And it’s about to raise the difficulty. Again.

so much time and chapters trying to fluff time or adding suspense for no apprent reason by delaying or trying to add mystery to system screens or exposition thats told 15-40sec later.

-2hr contemplating level up choices (explaining thought process)
-1hr is book recommendation at end.

if it wasnt for the good concept of the MC I would normalh drop this series, however I really enjoy the authors other books and while this book seems more like they are trying to correct the direction of the character and justify it, his other books give me hope this is just a one off railroading and fluff piece.

the world building and side characters POV is a positive if it wasnt the majority of the progression of the book.

i also have a suspicion that the author is making choices for level ups and evolutions from feedback or criticism by railroading and trying to over justify the choices with exposition and dialogue.

disappointment or just filler?
