For people who like to consider more universal questions......at the same time Wolfe creates a vivid & totally believable & detailed future. His use of language is engaging, understandable & fits the created scenarios very well.

Wolfe is a genius and the narrator did a commendable job. It's unusual that audible published the work as both 2 volumes and 4 volumes but for anyone confused there is absolutely no reason to purchase the smaller 4 volume edition over this one. Tangent aside, would highly recommend

An interesting story spoiled by too much reliance on repetitive religious chants. Maybe better to read where the repetition can be skimmed over. Well performed but a bit disappointing

More a study in a possible future religion than a scifi. After several hours absolutely nothing interesting had happened. I couldn't listen anymore and gave up.
