Now that the extent of her powers is known, Solis, Noctis, and mortals all hunt her. Meanwhile, chaos reigns across the land. The immortal realm is ruled by a depraved king who will stop at nothing to reclaim Haven as a weapon, while the mortal lands must choose between serving a tyrant or following Prince Bell, the Kinslayer.

This is an enjoyable series.

Full of honor, loyalty, friendship, facing your fears, learning to trust, accepting people's hurt and striving forward. it has all the qualities one wants when it comes to a fantasy / conquest series. No real hanky panky till book 4, so I would classify this series young adult but still well worth adding to your library.

It's okay

It doesn't drag as much as the previous books. On the flip side, it's predictable and filled with tired tropes that don't even attempt to twist it into something new.

Yes!!

First of all I spent most of the book basically yelling "YES!" and I'm pretty sure when I was in my car I got strange looks from other drivers, but it's fine. Secondly, where's dark bringer? I need it! I love it! I want no NEED more! I love them all! I'm not made for this kind of suspense but I love it so much!

Finally!

It took until the fourth book for it to finally get interesting. I wouldn’t say this series was my top favorite but it’s some thing to listen to when you’re bored.

Overall pretty good

This book started slow and sort of meandered for awhile. It did pick up in the last 1/3 to finish strong. The narrator was consistent and did a good job.
