روايةٌ صدرت طبعتها الأولى في العام 2013 ، في رام الله. تجرى أحداث هذه الرواية ، الأقرب ما يكون إلى صنف الرواية غير المتخيلة ، في بيروت ، في صيف الغام 1982 ، حين أحكم الجيش الاسرائيلي حصاره للقسم الغربيّ من عاصمة لبنان ، حيث وجد الفلسطنيون ، مدنيين ومقاتلين، وحيث وُجدَ أيضا سكّان هذا القسم اللبنانيّون ومقاتلوا الحركة الوطنيّة اللبنانيّة المتحالفون مع الفلسطينين . لا تؤرّخ الرواية وقائع الحصار ، بل ترصد سلوك الناس العاديين أثناء هذا الحصار ، وتظهر مقدرة الأنسان على احتمال الأذى حيث تتحول هذه المقدرة إلى أفتك سلاح ضد الذين أحكموا حصارهم للمدينة التي تقاومهم ، وسلطوا عليها أسلحة البرّ والبحر والجو للفتك بهم.
