Privatdetektiv Remzi Ünal hat einen Fehler gemacht. Er fühlt sich mitverantwortlich für den Tod der jungen Schauspielerin Tugcen Yavas. Neuling im Aikido-Kurs, den auch Ünal unregelmäßig besucht, bittet Yavas den Privatdetektiv, sie nach dem Training nach Hause zu fahren. Er tut ihr den Gefallen und bemerkt, dass sie auf der Heimfahrt von einem Auto verfolgt werden. Yavas scheint irgendetwas zu fürchten. Aber er nimmt ihre Ängste nicht ernst. Am nächsten Morgen wird Tugcen Yavas ermordet aufgefunden.
Remzi versucht, durch die Aufklärung des Verbrechens sein schlechtes Gewissen zu beruhigen und seine Ehre wieder herzustellen. Er macht sich an die Arbeit und sticht in ein Wespennest. Um die Wahrheit herauszufinden, sieht er sich gezwungen, in das Szene-Milieu von Off-Theatern, Bars und obskuren Spielhöllen in Istanbul einzudringen.
