About this listen

An unprecedented and terrifying bioterrorism plot threatens to kill millions in the midst of a divisive presidential election in this “gut punch of a tale that exploits our greatest fears” (The Providence Journal) from the #1 New York Times bestselling Mitch Rapp series.

A toxic presidential election is underway in an America already badly weakened by internal divisions. While politicians focus entirely on maintaining their own power, ISIS kidnaps a brilliant French microbiologist and forces him to begin manufacturing anthrax. Slickly produced videos chronicling his progress and threatening an imminent attack are posted to the internet, intensifying the hysteria gripping the United States.

ISIS recruits a Mexican drug cartel to smuggle the bioweapon across the border, but it’s really just a diversion. The terrorist organization needs to keep Mitch Rapp and Irene Kennedy distracted long enough to weaponize a deadly virus that they stumbled upon in Yemen. If they succeed, they’ll trigger a pandemic that could rewrite the world order.

Rapp embarks on a mission to infiltrate the Mexican cartels and track down the ISIS leader who he failed to kill during their last confrontation. But with Washington’s political elite increasingly lined up against him, he knows he’ll be on his own.

Another stellar and white-knuckled thriller, Lethal Agent proves that “Mitch Rapp is the hero we need, maybe now more than ever” (The Real Book Spy).

I’ve read every Mitch Rapp book multiple times. This is among the best - love every second.

A ripper of a Mitch Rapp story

great story, well presented and well narrated with a touch of political intrigue and the usual action

Another great book from Vince Flynn

Vince Flynn and now Kyle Mills created such a great character in Mitch Rapp. And I can’t imagine anyone voicing his tales better than George Guidall.

As always, fast paced and lots of dead bad guys. Hard to put down for the last half.

Another adventure with Mitch Rapp

After about 2 hrs in, I cannot continue listening.
This narrator has destroyed what should be another great Mitch Rap yarn 😡

Let Down

This book takes to about Chapter 12 to actually get interesting and I think you have had to read the previous book to understand what the first few chapters are all about. Even poor Mr Guidall wasn't up to his usual standards and seemed like he was stilted and racing a clock, so much so that his slight lisp became a rumbling mumble. That being said when things started to get interesting and warm up, the reader settled into his normal fantastic reading voice and did a great job. Great read as per usual from Kyle Mills. Love following Mitch Rapp.

Cool Beginning but does Warm Up

I struggled to get through the first few chapters. the performance of the narrator wasnt exciting (almost monotone) making an already predictable story even less interesting...

very average performance of a predictable story
