À partir de témoignages, de documents d'archives et de photographies, on découvre comment, un jour de 1965, l'idée est venue au jeune Tremblay d'écrire une pièce en joual rassemblant 15 femmes dans une cuisine autour d'un million de timbres-primes Gold Star.
