Brilliant

Leopard's Rage is book 13 in the Leopard series and focuses on Sevastyan Amurov and Flambe Carver. They meet when Flambe literally crashes into Savastyan's life while she is in a terrible state having just evaded a brutal leopard intent on taking her against her will. Flambe has severe trust issues deeply implanted in psyche from childhood and Savastyan has terrible issues of his own also implated deep in his pscyhe from childhood. Together they must overcome these issues and learn to trust in each other but it will be a very difficult road with obstacles at every turn. Fortuantely for Sevastyan his skills in Shibari are going to help him win over Flambe who becomes his rope model and loves it as much as he does. They fall hard and fast for each other now if they can only express this to each other and trust they might have a chance at success in their relationship. Another intense paranormal romance in the series which is extremely well written by a true master of the genre. I love everything Christine writes and would happily live in any of the worlds she creates.

Awesome Story but So-So Narration

I’ll buy any Christine Feehan book or audio book because her writing is just that awesome; but, the narrator for this book was just so-so. Recommend going back to having previous narrators such as Jim Frangione, Phil Gigante, or Karen White narrate future books.

🌻Narrator change was a disappointment 🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻 The change of narrator was a big downfall, of this book. James McAdams isn’t a horrible narrator but, he doesn’t even approach Jim Frangione’s talent. He doesn’t express emotions well and definitely doesn’t perform an “alpha male” voice very alpha. In addition, name pronunciations weren’t uniform, as they always have been, under JF. The storyline itself, was very similar to most of the other books, in this series. Particularly, those set in the United States. One unique and fascinating aspect, of this book, was the Shebari rope bondage. The art and practice is fascinating. Hopefully, enough negative comments will be made that, The production team will return Jim Frangione’s narrating genius, to this series.

I missed the story

I get that the sex must be a part of these storylines, but this one just seemed like all sex and no story. The other books in this series had a lot of sex but they also had a lot of story. I kept getting sex after sex with perhaps a paragraph of the story. So much so that I skipped over the sex scenes because that was all there was to them except perhaps a sentence or two. I have enjoyed every book Ms Feehan has written but this one was very hard to get through. The narrator was very good so you could visualize every scene. Perhaps I missed something. No one can take the place of Jim narrating these books. He knows the names as they are written but for a first try this narrator did well. He needs to listen to the first books so he will hear how Jim pronounced the names since that is how the listeners are used to hearing them.

I'm a fan of Christine Feehand for about 20 years

I love this series but, this is the 3rd book I didn't much care for. I found myself struggling to get into the story. It could just be me that thought the heroin was a ninny and selfish. Anyway, I am not sure I want to go over the book again. I'm hopeful the next story will be better, more to the point instead of dancing around a woman that doesn't know what she's doing and doesn't care to find out what's true and what isn't.

Not Jim

The narrator needs lots of work, mispronounced names. Was just not polished. Sounded like he was reading a book.

Unhappy

I love Christine’s books but this one left me flat. It was difficult to stay with the book as the narrator was awful. Could not distinguish the characters and his voice lacked energy.

different feel

Wow, what can I say about this addition to the Leopard series? Well first, I can say that I enjoyed the story. I chose to do my first reading of the book via audio so that will have a great influence on my review. The story has a much slower pace to it than previous books and it was not as violent as others have been. Since a new narrator, James McAdams, was chosen for this book, I kind of felt it was written just for him to narrate as I could not see Jim Frangione narrating this one, hence my reference to the slower pace. Hopefully Jim Frangione will return for the next book. The book tells the story of Sevastyan Amurov, Amur leopard shifter and bodyguard to his cousin Mitya Amurov. When Flambe Carver shows up on his doorstep late for their appointment, he senses something is very wrong. Flambe reluctantly tells him what has happened and that she was escaping the clutches of a stalker who ran her of the road. Sevastyan recognizes her as a shifter also and to his surprise one on the verge of having her leopard about to make its first appearance. The attraction between them is almost instant. Sevastyan takes Flambe under his protection. And as their connection grows, with flames of desire sparking between them, will it burst into an inferno that will consume them both?

So sad, bad due to narrator 😢😢😢

I love this series, but had a horrible time staying interested in the story. I never would have purchased this book had I realized Jim Frangione wasn't the narrator...... Christine Feehan, if Jim's not available, wait to record the next book until he is. This nis a NO for me!!!

I have two problems with this one

So I would have like to know it was going to be a BDSM book at the start of the Book as well we are told stvastian is at a BDSM clue and ties a woman up and has sex with her And he doesn’t know flambé is watching(FYI they don’t know each other yet) And the narrator is so confusing I don’t know who’s talking I was like ok it flambé talking only to Realise it’s Syvastian or it would be her leopard??? So not the best one out of the series but that my opinion
