About this listen

James and Jessica Hatton are taken out of class on September 11th, 2001. They are told to hurry along with the other children to an assembly at the Catholic school they are attending in London, England. The children, who are 8 and 7 years old, sit and stare as a television announcer explains on the TV there has been an attack! Two planes hit the towers. They hear the man speak but wonder for a minute if it is the same towers they spent so much time visiting their mother at work.

Then they hear a plane has hit the Pentagon in Washington D.C, and another was taken down in Pennsylvania. As the other students sit and their jaws drop at what comes on the screen next, James and Jess look up at their Dad, waiting at the door to take them home. With tears streaming down their faces, the children get up and walk toward their father and away from the screen behind them, showing the towers crashing to the ground.

They ask, Where is mommy?
