About this listen

It's the beginning of a new school year at Normalton University, and Dani Sloan has purchased a table for the big orientation extravaganza on the quad, determined to recruit the incoming freshmen as customers for her innovative packed-lunch business. Her food samples are a hit, but the good always seems to come with a dose of bad, and just a few days later, a man is murdered during the annual college-sponsored zombie crawl.

Once again, Dani finds herself caught up in something much more sinister than she had ever imagined when she opened her ambitious chef-to-go business - and the only way to ensure her own safety is to catch the culprit - fast.

The second book in the series is just as good as the first. A little more serious and a bit darker, Dani and her girl gang are at it again. I love hearing about the food she creates, the attraction between sexy cop and curvy delicious Dani and of course the mystery to be solved. two thumbs up.
