I believe it doesn't use everyday canto words :(

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Not worth the time because it translates from the written Chinese word or phrase to the spoken, but written Chinese uses a lot of words that aren't spoken in everyday speech so a few of the phrases and words you will never hear on the streets, enough to be annoying and make you wonder what some words really are when it's just simple canto. Also the order of lessons is all over the place, it needs to be organised with a table of contents. Also you really need to follow the downloaded notes or else you won't know what is being said.

What could Innovative Language Learning have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Include a table of contents and index but more importantly, use the everyday words used on the streets. I also would have liked a lot more spoken sentences and with random words being spoken out, translations are really required. The pdf book isn't well laid out either, some pages you only see one sentence written on it.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Any additional comments?

For the low purchase price it was ok but it has a few faults, the main one using words not generally used on the streets in everyday life being presented.
