A beautiful fantasy story with dual language

Would you listen to Le petit prince (The Little Prince) again? Why?

I would listen to The Little Prince Again. The Little Prince is one of my favorite books from childhood. I have only been learning french for a few months so it was useful to have a familiar and enchanting dual language story to listen to.The story of The Little Prince is captivating and my whole family enjoyed listening to the adventures of The Little Prince. The story has a beautiful message and memorable characters, exploring themes of spiritual growth, enlightenment, relationships and the danger of narrow mindedness

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character was the fox who wanted to be tamed by The Little Prince. The fox and the Little Prince teach each other about friendship.

Have you listened to any of Aurore Belle and Shanna Stoker ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

The book is narrated by Aurore Belle and Shanna Stokers whose reading of The Little Prince really help bring the characters to life.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did not laugh or cry but I was really glad I was able to find this audio book to help improve my French skills and share one of my favorite stories with my family.

The ending was emotional as The Little Prince leaves the world to return to his planet.

Le Petit Perfection

I have studied French for a long time but rarely have to opportunity to read books that combine the French and English languages so beautifully. The Little Prince is perfect for learning about the differences between the two languages with adjectives and conjugation. It is a beautiful story, perfectly suited for small children and adults alike.

A great way to work on your French listening skill

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would because it is a really nice way to be able to practice your French listening skills and vocabulary. I found myself writing down new words I hadn't heard before, and found out what they were which helped me build my vocabulary.

What did you like best about this story?

I really loved the gorgeous storyline throughout the story. It is lovely to listen to in French, and practice my listening skills while the story is read. When the little prince says that the eyes are blind, and that one must look with their heart, I really feel that this sentence resonates with me.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

I loved the scene where the little prince first meets the fox. I think that it is a very beautiful scene.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The best moment for me was right at the end when the narrator puts children and grown-ups' perspectives, and how we need to learn to explore our own selves.

Any additional comments?

I really liked the pacing and intonation that the narrators used. It made me feel that I was able to keep up with the story, and understand how I should produce sentences properly in French with the right stresses on the right words.
