About this listen

A pulsating sci-fi thriller from the author of the global blockbuster Not Alone—perfect for fans of Andy Weir and A.G. Riddle.

I wasn’t supposed to survive.

The station has been hit. Everyone around me is dead.

I have 11 hours of life support left and no way of contacting Earth.

I’m alone. I’m stranded. I’m desperate.

But I’m alive.

The more of the station I explore, the surer I get that this was no accident. Someone did this, and I don't think they're finished yet.

Making it home feels like an impossible task, but I'm not just fighting for my own life.

I have to protect my family—whatever it takes.

And as long as I’m breathing, this isn't over.

Because whoever did this almost pulled it off...but they made one big mistake: They left the wrong man standing....

Narration was great, loved the writing style, and the idea was quite original. Looking forward to the next one.

Fans of Andy Weir will love this one

Good story with surprise twists which kept the interest going but the Narration, oh my god! I was constantly distracted by the cheery, cheesy tone of voice which didn't match at all the seriousness of the drama that the main character was facing. The voice sounded like those old Mickey Mouse cartoons where Mickey is obliviously cheerful about absolutely everything. Late in the story his tone became more serious. Maybe somebody gave him some much needed feedback. Would purchase the next in the series but will definitely listen to a sample first before doing so.

Narration Annoying and Distracting

Spoiler Alert - when the visually challenged rest their contacts on the edge of a sink with running water, then proceed with a monologue of how bad their eye sight is and that they have no spares …… and the contacts get knocked into the sink a washed away. Forget it - I just could not get past such a painfully obvious outcome. Would have laughed if it was a tease - but for it to happen. Stopped reading and binned the story.
