Critic Reviews

"The first thing I noticed about this course is that the booklet is very helpful. The first few pages give tips and a pronunciation guide for Pinyin; a latinised version of Mandarin characters. It deals with everything a tourist might need to know to get by comfortably when on holiday. Well worth the money!" (K. Jamison, County Down)
"This short Mandarin course was wonderful and within a few days I'd learnt the basics of conversation (including social etiquette surrounding such conversation). Overall, a well-formulated and easy-to-use tool for learning Mandarin." (H. Dennison, Dorset)

A great start to the basics

Drive to work instead of getting the train. do the speaking exercises in the privacy of your car. took me a while to get used to it but listening back I've learnt so much. it's in an easy format and gives you a chance to think about what to say with repetition. sharing what I've learnt with Chinese friends, they're impressed but say some of the words and phrases are a little formal so it depends what context you use it. after doing this course and one other I'm fairly confident I could at least get around in China. I'm hooked on learning now so where's the next course?!
