Click PDF link to get Pictures for Lesson.

You *don't* have to go to the company website to download anything. The PDF is next to the place you click to download. I had a hard time seeing it at first. Many of the words you can understand if you speak English and even more if you also speak Spanish, even without the guide, but I sure was happy to find the guide, as other reviewers certainly didn't. For a free thing, I think it's good, BUT if they made people work less hard to enjoy the product, I believe it would result in more orders and fewer hard feelings. Great vocab if you speak no French!

Didn't work for me.

What disappointed you about Learn French: Word Power 101?

Can't sync the proper French pronunciation with the book. I either only hear the French-no book..or have the book with wacky English pronunciation-like a GPS.

What do you think your next listen will be?

None.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Innovative Language Learning?

They were fine.

What character would you cut from Learn French: Word Power 101?

None.

Any additional comments?

Can't understand why it didn't work!

Great for learning in the car!

Exactly what I wanted! Lots of helpful vocab. Listen then repeat. A word is given, then that word with another, then those words in a sentence.
The words chosen are mostly ones that you might use in daily conversation.

finally...a french lesson that repeats two times

other books only repeat once, this is a short but good, informative audiobook...if only other french esl books were structured the same I could become fluent much more quickly.

Excellent free introductory book.

Excellent free introductory book, will consider progressing through series, depending on cost and content. There was no story, hence Mark.

Liked layout, new to audio books, so had no knowledge of how to change speed or stop, so I need to experiment.

A Waste of Ten Minutes

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better accent would have been a start.

What was most disappointing about Innovative Language Learning’s story?

There was no story. Only a listing of words without English translation. So without the PDF, the audiobook is useless. I bought this to practice in the car.

Very random

What would have made Learn French: Word Power 101 better?

A more focused and organised way of gaining knowledge in this language

What was most disappointing about Innovative Language Learning’s story?

The translation method is not preferred when such random information is given. The information offered is pretty useless when placed in context. The intonation is totally off, making the learner speak in a more aggressive manner, and in some cases, using question intonation for affirmative sentences.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The English was more powerful than the French with the translations, so you could not properly grasp the French.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment and annoyance

Any additional comments?

I will not pay another pound for this rubbish. I am cancelling immediately.
