About this listen

Much of our food isn’t really food. Instead, it’s a manmade product that’s designed to look like food, smell like food, and taste like food. Packed full of natural flavors (which aren’t actually "natural") and other added nasties, this "food" is lacking in nutrients and contributing to our overweight, undernourished, and unhealthy population.

The trouble is, it can be hard to recognize good foods from not-so-good foods (even processed "organic" foods might not be the best choice for your table). So, how do you navigate the grocery aisles to ensure you’re making the best choices for you and your family?

In Lab to Table, Cyndi O’Meara, Australia’s leading nutritionist, teaches us how to heal our bodies by replacing foods made in a lab with satisfying, naturally healthier real food alternatives. Step by easy step, you’ll start to understand what to look for in a food - and you’ll also learn to break unhealthy habits when it comes to eating.

You will:

  • Understand why we should all be eating real foods
  • Discover how to cut through the food label jargon
  • Be able to confidently choose the best foods for you and your family
  • Learn to maintain your new good habits for life

You can dip in and out of this book - listen to the chapters that most appeal to you first. You do not have to start at the beginning.

Lab to Table is the updated and extended version of Cyndi O’Meara’s best-selling book Changing Habits Changing Lives.
