La casa diventa un luogo di prigionia, per quanto bella possa essere, il vicolo un luogo dove non arriva l'aria e la libertà, la morte una liberazione invocata inutilmente. Ma ciò che non è potuto accadere per le madri, potrà accadere alle figlie, questo il messaggio dell'autrice. Che ci auguriamo possa avverarsi.
