K (Karl) Arne Blom föddes den 22 januari 1946 och uppväxt i Nässjö i Småland. Han är en svensk författare, översättare och ledamot i Skånska Deckarsällskapet och Svenska Deckarakademin.
Blom är mest känd för sina deckare men har även skrivit ett flertal böcker om skånsk och särskilt lundensisk historia.
