I listened to all three books in this series because the story was captivating.
the struggle here for me was the narrator. flipping between posh British and Italian in the same sentence (not for character voices just because) was a little distracting. changing pace was a put off.
I do have to give her credit for her efforts in the character voices. most of the time, you could tell when someone else was talking quite easily.

This is such a beautifully written book. With words that are spun like an enchanting song.

Wow, this book was a surprise to say the least. I may have to talk to my local book store, as they always have this series in the YA section... This is not YA. Haha. This is very much NA, with steam and spice. I loved every bit of it! The main story took awhile to get too due interruptions of... handsome demons, sex, lust... and all the spice 🥵. I'm loving the supernatural elements with a dark and gothic setting. I hope the author goes deeper into this world. There seems to be so many possibilities.

Was completely taken by the first book that I binged listened to this one in one day. Great sequel to a fantastic first book. I hope there is more to follow. The cursed is so intriguing, the unpacking of truths… the shifting developments keep you on your toes. A must read

I loved the amount of spicy. I also loved the direction of the story but I wish we weren't still so much in the dark, leaving everything the final book

This was an absolute mess of a book. The storyline made no sense! The characters who had so much potential in the first book turned into 2 dimensional boring idiots. Emelia is possibly the most vapid, idiotic female lead I've ever encountered. So disappointing.
