Publisher's Summary

The king of wall street is brought to his knees by an ambitious bombshell.

At work, I’m King of Wall Street. The heaviest hitters in Manhattan come to me to make money. They do whatever I say because I’m always right. I’m shrewd. Exacting. Some say ruthless.

At home, I’m a single dad trying to keep his fourteen-year-old daughter a kid for as long as possible. If my daughter does what I say, somewhere there’s a snowball surviving in hell. And nothing I say is ever right.

When Harper Jayne starts as a junior researcher at my firm, the barriers between my worlds begin to dissolve. She’s the most infuriating woman I’ve ever worked with.

I don’t like the way she bends over the photocopier—it makes my mouth water.

I hate the way she’s so eager to do a good job—it makes my body twitch.

And I can’t stand the way she wears her hair up exposing her long neck. It makes me want to strip her naked, bend her over my desk and trail my tongue all over her body.

If my two worlds are going to collide, Harper Jayne will have to learn that I don't just rule the boardroom. I’m in charge of the bedroom, too.

The King of Wall Street is a standalone contemporary romance.

If only all single dads were like Max!

I know we could all listen to SebYo reading a phone book and swoon, but honestly when he's paired with Arni Arndt you just know a good book will be turned into a brilliant audiobook! And this audiobook definitely deserves all the accolades its received.
The characters are 3-dimensional, butting heads because of blurred perspective and stubbornness, while the realisation that there's something more than physical attraction brewing between them only comes through their interactions with others. And those others are great characters in their own right, woven into the story with purpose but also given enough depth to be truly memorable. The dialogue is witty and natural, translating perfectly into audio, and the story itself is really terrific. This audiobook left me feeling happy - without my teeth hurting from too much of the sugary stuff! When written this well, there's just something surprisingly feel-good about a devoted (& super sexy, high-achieving, successful businessman) single dad having his teenage daughter trying to hook him up so she can get a baby sister! Such an easy 5-star rating!!

Low angst with lots of spice!

I enjoyed Max and Harper. They weren't cheesy or cliche.
Harper has Daddy issues, a lot of them. So she goes to work at a place that her father isn't affiliated with, although she doesn't consciously make this choice. She's been low key obsessed with Max King all through business school, so she’s excited to actually be working for him.
Max is too busy for dating and relationships. But when he spots Harper in the office he hungers for her from the word go.
When these two hit it off, sparks fly and they ignite. My only dislike is that Harper gave her father too much credit when he apologised. The man was a coward and selfish, he should've made the effort years ago. Anyway....
This is a good story with great narrators and I enjoyed it.

Loved this so much!

This was the first book by Louise Bay that I've read and I absolutely loved it!

I absolutely loved the hero in this book, Max King. He's hard as nails when he's at work but when he's at home he's a devoted and loving father.

Harper, has just gotten her dream job working for King and Associates as a researcher and she cannot stand her boss! She thinks he's a jerk (to put it politely) and just wants someone to acknowledge the hard work that she has been putting in. When Harper moves in to her new apartment in Manhattan, her upstairs neighbour puts on a show for her and her best friend Grace.

What she doesn't expect to find when she goes to knock on his door the following night is that her upstairs neighbour is her boss!

The relationship that develops between the two of them is gorgeous! I loved how Max's attitude towards Harper slowly softens throughout the book. The plot line was fantastic with a couple twists in there that keep you intrigued all the way through.

I can't wait to dive into the next book!

Not bad

It was ok.
Harper has issues. I skipped alot of her whinging, complaining, poor me syndrome antics lol I couldn’t wrap my head around as to why she couldn’t communicate her issues.
The narrators are my favourite

Decent story, frustrating narrators

The story was a pretty stock standard smutty romance with a rich misunderstood boss. Good book for a casual listen, but nothing groundbreaking.
I found the narration frustrating as it seemed like they emphasised the incorrect parts of sentences at times. The actual tone they brought to the characters was fine and they were pretty consistent in their overlapped portrayal of the characters which was good.

Written very well

Enjoyed it from the start to the end. The narrators gave you a better sense of each character as they developed through the storyline. Hot and steamy scenes were intense. Would recommend

Billionaire Age Gap Single Dad 🥵

Loved this story. Narrators were exceptional, as usual. Spiciness and steam from early on in the book and didn't let up. Loved the character development and found myself bingeing the story! Will definitely listen again

My first spicy book

I hate Max. I think he just wants Harper for sex 🙄 I was unhappy with the ending as well since (I don’t want to spoil things) many women would have ended things if it ended in that way.
I feel like Harper’s character is a bit unrealistic and some supporting characters left me confused.

Otherwise, I enjoyed this!
