Story
This documentary records the events of the most celebrated mutiny in the annals of the sea: the 1789 revolt against Captain William Bligh in the West Indies. Was Bligh a sadistic disciplinarian who terrorized his crew? Or a superb and misunderstood seaman? Over 200 years later, the controversy surrounding this legendary captain still rages. The truth may lie in this narrative based on the ship’s log, in which Bligh writes of the resentful crew, ravaging storms, and uncharted islands that led to mutiny.

Story
This treasured historical satire, played out in two very different socioeconomic worlds of 16th-century England, centers around the lives of two boys born in London on the same day: Edward, Prince of Wales and Tom Canty, a street beggar. During a chance encounter, the two realize they are identical and, as a lark, decide to exchange clothes and roles--a situation that briefly, but drastically, alters the lives of both youngsters.

Not the King Arthur I expected
I expected stories of King Arthur and the Round table with famous Knights such as Sir Lancelot. However this version focused on a set of Knights I had not heard of until this novel and their exploits. I read this to get better acquainted with Arthurian legends, so at least I know have a broader base of stories. But this is not a compendium of the most famous stories which is what I wanted. Also the middle English used to narrate the stories often meant that stories took twice as long to say the same thing. I imagine these stories as transcripts of fireside retellings in mediaeval times.
