Good narration.

AUDIBLE I have loved this series for years and to listen to this in audible is just brilliant. I can do other things but still immerse myself in this wonderful world of magics, mystery and the battle between good and evil. Good narration. BOOK REVIEW 4.5 STARS - This is the last book of a Trilogy. I just loved Zoe, she is a tough, smart, single mum who adores her son and takes no guff from anyone. But she is also a loveable, intelligent woman with needs she is not afraid to indulge in. Once Zoe trusts and befriends you, you are one lucky person. The love interest in this book is Bradley, Flynn and Jordan’s other best friend. Brad also has a part of the puzzle, a third painting with the faces of Malory, Dana and Zoe in it. “The daughters of the Glass.” As we have seen in the two previous books the couples are pairing up. Zoe is not letting that happen with Brad, even if he is a multi-millionaire good looking hunk. Of course Zoe and Brad get together, Brad has been in love with Zoe’s face for years from the painting. The conclusion of this trilogy was a really good story. I have owned and read the paperback version for years and this is one series I keep rereading. Now it is in eBook format I can take them on holiday with me. If you like strong women as heroines paired with really great guys, add a bit of mythology, a puzzle to be solved, throw in Celtic Gods and Goddess’s and of course the obligatory bad guy, you will love this series. Not to mention the humour, romance and intrigue that this series is.

Choice

Well yes I chose to listen to it! The story like most of Nora Roberts books is predictable and yet enjoyable! The trilogy as a whole is not one of her stronger story’s but certainly pleasant… listen to while doing chores or curled up on rainy days! But the narration while slightly improved from book one is horrible! The narrator sounds like she is chewing gum, her characters voices lack definition and her accents are awful. So like the theme of all three books it is your choice to spend the money on audible or to go out and purchase the books and read them yourself. I chose audible as I was in bed with Covid!
