About this listen

Judge Jonathan Barnea serves both as a district court and a community court judge. He is committed to community court as it is an opportunity for him to vindicate his only son who became addicted to drugs and took his own life. When a community court defendant, who reminds Barnea strongly of his dead son, knocks on his door one night seeking help, the guilt-ridden judge allows him to spend the night at his home. This will turn out to have been a terrible mistake, leading to Barnea's arrest and indictment for sexual assault. The judge is interrogated by inspector Anat Nachmias, recently back from maternity leave and trying to juggle motherhood and a challenging police career. Nachmias recommends indicting the judge with a major crime. The judge's world comes crashing down. Shortly before the trial begins, Nachmias realizes she has made a grave mistake and that the judge had been framed by an imposter. Nachmias joins forces with the judge in trying to track the imposter down.
