Amazing

Life changing!

This book is literally life-changing! It's an awesome hear, and I had to buy it for myself after borrowing it from a friend. A very interesting book that is extremely helpful. Tons of information that has taught me a lot. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Most concise guide

This is one of the clearest and most concise guides on the ketogenic diet that I have ever hear. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an easy-to-understand, and yet in-depth guide on starting a ketogenic diet.

This was a really helpful book.

This was a really helpful book. I really appreciated the fact that she knows her stuff--she is a registered dietitian, has degrees and cites all her sources....unlike many of those Paleo books written by random people. She even has a contract for you to sign to keep yourself accountable! The only bad thing about this book was that there should have been a few more recipes, but the few she did include seemed generally pretty easy and tasty.

Great new diet book, very informative

I feel like I'm always trying to lose a few extra pounds, and I picked up this book in the hope that a new diet plan would spur me to reattempt that new year's resolution. Lombardi explains exactly what a ketogenic diet means, clearly and thoughtfully, and then launches into giving the hearer a deeper understanding of how foods power our bodies. Her personal experiences were a great motivation to keep reading and trying, and the personal contract held me accountable to myself! I would recommend this book for anyone looking to understand how the human body truly digests and utilizes its food: It'll change the whole way you look at your meals.
