Love the story line love the narration - this really takes you into the lives of the characters and is so very accurate - the humour is a welcome relief from the dire situation portrayed of those days .

The narrators did an amazing job, on an excellent book! i really loved the way the female read the male parts and vice versa, they did that so effortlessly without ruining the story. I will listen to this book more than once ❤️

Listened to it twice, love the story and couldn’t wait for part 2! I couldn’t wait to see what happened to the kids and really related to this storyline.
The author must have some knowledge of DV because she expresses language that only someone with that knowledge would know
