Good story, but it was too slow
Paced.
Still not bad though, but because it’s Mary Kubica’s book, I expected more.

I love Mary Kubica’s books, but this wasn’t one of my favourites. I struggled to connect with any of the characters & didn’t love the narrators either. It was a good story but the ‘twist’ didn’t surprise or grab me unfortunately. Good enough to listen to whilst driving to & from work though!

Just The Nicest Couple by Mary Kubica (January 10 2023). Man goes missing; wife searches for him. Her friend admits to hitting him as he tried to attack her; her husband tries to cover things up. Slow moving story which flows quite predictably.
