A storyline with intrigue and depth. So good I am going to get all the books in the series. Romance is interesting and not overburdened with explicit sex. story not drawn out either, which is refreshing. Thank you.

I've enjoyed all I've read in this series so far, and this was no exception.
Both narrators were also good as always and made the emotion and connection believable.
I did have a slight misgiving about the story at one point but fortunately it was short lived. At this point the main male had said no to her advances. Rather than accepting that, she thought he'd weaken if she kept up the seduction and even amped it up. He gave in but ended up feeling conflicted about it.
If this had been gender reversed there would have been clear criticism about a man not respecting a no.
Everyone gets the right to set boundaries ..males included!
Anyway I continued listening and it didn't last long. I will still listen to more in the series.
Btw there is sex but not excessive nor overwhelming the narrative.
